Alter Ego(s)

As most authors tend to do when writing in different genres, I use other pseudonyms in addition to D.E. Kendall. One such ‘alter ego’ of mine is Dana Cadelle, focusing on works of contemporary women’s fiction.

My first novel as Dana Cadelle is Vigilante427… Here’s the back cover copy:

“Recently divorced Tess is barely holding it together as it is, when she discovers her ex-husband is getting remarried. After everything he put her through.

On the verge of emotional death-by-ice-cream, Tess stumbles across a near-perfect revenge plan… The problem? He’d recognise her.

While faking a baking business and donning a disguise bring challenges of their own, becoming a vigilante on behalf of others isn’t a piece of cake, either.

The countdown to his wedding is on. Will revenge ever bring Tess peace, or could saving others be the answer to saving herself?

Justice is complicated. Apparently.”

Vigilante427 is available in eBook, paperback, and hardcover format – please click here for more info. 🙂

Doodles

‘Doodles’ was the childhood nickname that inspired me (a.k.a. D.E. Kendall) to embark on a brand-new adventure – writing and illustrating children’s books! While I may not be the world’s greatest artist, as Doodles, I hope my comical, little drawings complement my words in a way that brings joy to readers.

An example of my work as Doodles is a children’s book titled Cai and the Cardboard Roll. Here’s the back cover copy…

“Cai, the curious collie puppy, is searching for something to do, when he discovers a fun-looking ‘toy’ on the wall beside the loo! Yet Cai is just a puppy, and is still quite small, so, no-matter how hard he tries, he can’t seem to reach that cardboard roll.

Follow Cai’s adventure, to find out how far he’ll go to achieve his goal…

Crafted for parents* to read to young children, Cai and the Cardboard Roll explores themes of perseverance and overcoming adversity by illustrating that, sometimes, not getting what you want can lead to something even better!”

*or carers, grandparents, older siblings, etc. 🙂

Where to buy a copy of Cai and the Cardboard Roll:

Currently, Cai and the Cardboard Roll by Doodles is only available via The Great British Bookshop. You can discover other books crafted using my ‘Doodles’ pseudonym by visiting the Horseshoe Books website.

As always, thank you so much for your support! 🙂
